What We Use and Why We Use It

Quality Bedding Mix:   Compost, sand, soil and manure, gives plant material the best growing conditions by providing the correct balance of air, drainage and nutrients for proper plant growth.

Microlife Organic Fertilizer:   Provides every major and micro nutrient needed for healthy plant growth. Builds the biological activity in the soil. (All synthetic fertilizers are used up very quickly and don’t provide any soil building capabilities.)

Seaweed and Superthrive Root Stimulators:   Non-burning to sensitive root hairs, stays around the root area longer than synthetic fertilizers, actually adheres to the root surface. Provides more micro nutrients to the new plant, also helps decrease plant shock.

Water Soluble Sulfur:   Proper pH is one of the most important single factors to a good healthy landscape. pH is the major factor in fertilizer being made available to the plant material. A too high or too low pH causes many nutrients to be “tied-up” in the soil, or in other words, unavailable to the plants. Azaleas and hollies are an example of acid-loving plants.

Shredded Hardwood Mulch:   Longer lasting mulch, provides high water retention and keeps the plant roots cooler during hot periods and warmer during cooler periods. Does not break down as quickly as other mulches. Provides even more organic material to the soil as it breaks down.

High Quality Plant Materials:   We hand select from the best available plant materials that are disease and insect free. Our plant material will be very healthy, lush and full.
